What Fibo remembers
Fibo keeps short notes about you and your work so you do not have to repeat yourself. You can read, change and remove every one of them.

How memory works#
Your conversation with Fibo runs on indefinitely, and its older parts are summarised to make room. Memory is kept separately from the conversation, so summarising never loses it. Fibo is given your memory afresh at the start of every reply.
A memory item is a single sentence. There are three kinds.
| Kind | Example |
|---|---|
| A preference | "Prefers a summary first, then the detail." |
| About a person | "Sam runs carrier onboarding and is the person to ask about rate sheets." |
| About my work | "The quarter close has to be finished by the fifth working day." |
Fibo saves an item when something you say looks worth keeping. It does not ask first, but it tells you what it remembered and where to find it.
Memory is private to you#
Nobody else in your organization can see what Fibo remembers about you. That includes organization admins.
See, add, change and forget#
Click Memory at the top of the Fibo panel, or open Settings, then Fibo.
The page lists every item by kind. Each shows where it came from: noted by Fibo from your conversation on a given day, or added by you.
- Add: type a sentence under Something Fibo should remember, choose its kind, and click Add.
- Change: click Edit on the item.
- Remove: click Forget on the item.
A change applies from Fibo's next reply.
What Fibo will not remember#
- Personal facts about colleagues. Notes about a person are limited to working facts: who runs what, and who to ask. Fibo refuses notes about someone's health, family, performance, pay or conflicts.
- Secrets. Fibo refuses to store passwords, keys and tokens.
What Fibo is waiting on#
The same page has a list titled What Fibo is waiting on. These are your open threads:
- things of yours that are unresolved: a review, a question from an agent, work that is stuck, a task waiting for input, a turn that failed;
- questions Fibo has put to another workspace's agent for you that have not been answered yet.
This list is worked out from the state of your work each time, not from Fibo's memory, so it is accurate even after a long gap. You can also ask Fibo "what are you waiting on?"
Limits#
- Up to 200 items per person.
- An item can be up to 500 characters; a note about a person, up to 200.
