    On this page6 sections

    Home#

    Home is where you land after signing in. Its title is Your work, and it lists work that is moving and concerns you:

    • workspaces you own and engagements you started;
    • anything you follow;
    • anything that needs a person, where you are one of the people on call for it.

    A workspace that was only shared with you and is asking for nothing is not listed. Archived workspaces never appear.

    Work is grouped by state.

    GroupWhat is in it
    Needs youA review is waiting, the agent asked a question, or the work is stuck.
    WaitingThe work is waiting on someone else on the team.
    RunningThe agent is working, or has tasks to do.
    PausedNot started, on hold, or the agent is set to work one turn at a time.
    Done todayFinished or closed today. These rows are gone the next day.

    Each row shows the name, where it belongs (a service and client, or Not in a service), the reason for its state, task progress and when it was last active. Click the name to open it.

    Use the links above the list to show one state at a time. The filter is kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.

    Home does not refresh by itself. Reload the page to catch up.

    The sidebar#

    EntryWhat it opens
    HomeYour work.
    WorkspacesFive views of the workspaces you can open: Needs you, Recent, Mine, Shared with me and All workspaces. Each shows a count.
    Recently openedThe last few workspaces you opened. This list follows you across devices.
    ServicesThe services you can see. A service with work waiting on you is listed first, with a count. Expand a service to see its open engagements.
    Data sourcesThe data sources you can view.
    DirectoryThe companies, people and other parties your work is about.
    SettingsPeople, groups, models, storage, channels, appearance, notifications and Fibo.

    On a narrow screen the sidebar is behind the menu button. Inside a workspace on a wide screen it folds to a thin strip; move the pointer over it to bring it back.

    Needs you#

    Needs you is the first view under Workspaces and the default when you open Workspaces. It lists what is waiting on a person, most urgent first: tasks that need your review, skill reviews, and work that is stuck.

    A need goes to the people on call for that piece of work, not to one named person. One answer clears it for everyone. By default the people on call are the owner and the people working in it. The owner can set a specific list from the workspace's Share panel.

    Inside a workspace#

    A workspace has a strip of icons on its left edge. Each opens one view in a side panel: Files, Conversations, Skills, Browsers, Apps and others, depending on what the workspace has. Files and conversations open as tabs in the main area, and you can put two side by side.

    See Workspaces for the full tour.

    Fibo#

    Fibo is available on every page. Press Cmd+J on a Mac or Ctrl+J on Windows, or click the tab on the right edge of the window. Ask it what needs you, or to start a piece of work. See Fibo.

    Search and shortcuts#

    Inside a workspace, press Cmd+K or Ctrl+K to find a file by name. Type > first to run a command, such as Find in files. The full list is in Appearance and shortcuts.
