From invite to first engagement

Quickstart

This walkthrough assumes you have been invited to a Refactor organization on the platform console.

1. Sign in

Open the console and sign in with the email that received the invite. Accept the organization invitation if prompted.

2. Open or create a Service

Services are the top-level offering. From the console home:

  1. Open Services.
  2. Pick an existing service, or create one and give it a clear business name (for example, "Annual Benefits RFP").
  3. Confirm who on your team can access it (services are private to their creator until you grant access).

3. Author the Process

Inside the service, open the process (or create the first one). A process is your SOP as an agent skill:

  1. Open the workspace for that process.
  2. Edit the skill / instructions the agent will follow.
  3. Publish a version when it is ready for real work.

Publishing pins an immutable process version. Runs always pin the version they used, so you can audit and roll back with confidence.

4. Start an Engagement

An engagement is one rendering of the service for a subject:

  1. Create or select a Subject (the client or entity).
  2. Start an Engagement for that subject.
  3. Trigger a Run — from the console, a channel, or a schedule, depending on how the service is wired.

5. Review in the Inbox

When the agent needs a person, the work appears in your Inbox:

  1. Open the review surface for the run.
  2. Approve, correct, or reject with attribution.
  3. Corrections that should change the SOP can be promoted into the process.

6. Share status with stakeholders

If someone outside your team needs progress or must provide input, grant them access on the engagement. They receive a scoped status link — no seat required for basic status and input.
