    Your personal workspace

    Your conversation with Fibo lives in a private workspace that only you can reach. This page explains what it holds and what Fibo can see from there.

    What it is#

    Each person has one personal workspace in each organization they belong to. It is named Fibo, and it holds your conversation with Fibo and nothing else. It is created the first time you open the Fibo panel, or the first time Fibo has something to tell you.

    You never open it as a page. The Fibo panel is its only door.

    Who can reach it#

    Only you. Nobody else in the organization can open your personal workspace or read your conversation with Fibo, and that includes organization admins.

    It does not appear in the Workspaces list, on Home or in any count, and it does not use up one of the organization's workspaces.

    What you cannot do with it#

    A personal workspace is not for doing work in. It cannot be shared, renamed, archived, deleted or cloned. It cannot be turned into a service, and it cannot be given files, apps, data sources or client folders.

    To do work, ask Fibo to start a workspace, or create one yourself.

    What Fibo knows there#

    From your personal workspace Fibo can see facts about the work you are allowed to open:

    • your workspaces and engagements, by name, and which service each belongs to;
    • the status of each, and your level of access;
    • how many tasks are to do, in progress and done;
    • how much is waiting on a person: reviews, questions, stuck work, skill reviews;
    • how many conversations a workspace has and when it was last active;
    • who can open a given workspace or engagement.

    These facts do not include what was written or produced: no task titles, no questions, no messages and no files. For anything inside a workspace, Fibo asks that workspace's agent, or searches its conversations when you ask it to find an old discussion. Either way, the people in that workspace can see that it did.

    No internet access#

    Fibo in your personal workspace cannot reach the internet. It has no browser and cannot reach your GitHub repositories or data sources. This holds whatever network settings your organization uses for its other workspaces.

    Cost#

    Fibo uses the model your organization's admins choose for it, and its use counts toward one monthly spending limit for the whole organization. See Models and spending.

    When Fibo asks another workspace's agent a question, the cost of that answer is recorded on the workspace that answered, not on Fibo's limit.
